Amsterdam International Water Week: Let's make the connection!

Whenever there is a complex water issue somewhere in the world, attention directly turns to the Netherlands. Time and again, media from the affected countries present detailed reports on the innovative solutions that have been developed in our low-lying Rhine-Meuse-Scheldt river delta, a third of which lies below sea level.

Over het years, the Dutch have become masters in all aspects of water management, not only in flood protection but also in water resources management and treatment.

Dutch water technology suppliers are highly regarded worldwide and Dutch water specialist contractors and consultants are brought in to tackle complex water issues on all continents. This puts the Dutch water sector in a unique position.

Having developed such a high level of knowledge and experience, both national and international, the Dutch water sector wishes to engage with foreign partners to further develop this knowledge and to seek new – sustainable – solutions for complex water issues.
